Deoxymethoxetamine (other names 3′-methyl-2-oxo-PCE, DMXE, 3D- MXE) is a recreational drug of the arylcyclohexylamine classification that has dissociative, stimulant, and anesthetic properties.
Chemistry
Deoxymethoxetamine is a methoxytamine analog in which the 3-methoxy group is replaced by methyl.
Pharmacology
The toxicological and pharmacological properties of the substance are not well known and it is highly discouraged for human or veterinary use.
Conclusions can be drawn from the study of the substance and from tests on rats, as well as from the Internet. This drug in moderate doses may cause a mild stimming effect, an increase in blood pressure, and a desire to move. Medium doses cause confusion, visual effects, hallucinations, and dissociative effects.

In Canada, it is a Schedule I controlled substance.
