a-PiHP

a-PiHP (other names: α-PHiP, α-PiHP, 4-Me-pvp, ALPHA.-PHIP, alpha-Pyrrolidinoisohexaphenone, alpha-Pyrrolidinoisohexanophenone) is a substance of the cathinone class, an isomer of pyrovalerone, and has a similar structure and effects.
Chemistry
a-PiHP is an alpha-isobutyl derivative of pyrovalerone. This substance is a positional isomer of pyrovalerone, where the methyl group is shifted from the 4th position of the aromatic ring to the 4th position of the acyl chain.
Pharmacology
a-PiHP is sold online as a drug for recreational use. The substance is not yet well studied and information on toxicological and pharmacological properties is available.
Data from studies in mice showed that a-PiHP has the highest in vitro efficacy as a dopamine transporter inhibitor of alpha-substituted derivatives.
