4-Ethyl-alpha-Pyrrolidinovalerophenone (other name: 4-Et-PVP) is a stimulant of the cathinone class, a substituted metabolite of a-PVP, has similar effects and belongs to research drugs.
History
For the first time, 4-Et-PVP was discovered in Hungary in 2019.
Chemistry
4-Et-PVP is a homologue of a-PVP and has a related chemical structure.
Pharmacology
This substance has been little studied and there is little data on its pharmacological and toxicological properties. All the data presented are based on data from studies on mice. 4-Et-PVP causes effects such as stimulation, increased blood pressure, enlarged pupils, euphoria, concentration at moderate dosages. Prolonged insomnia is possible if the substance is abused.
