Methiodone HCL

Methadone is used to relieve severe pain. Methadone also is used to treat opioid addiction (physical and psychological reliance on a chemical found in prescription and street drugs). Methadone is in a class of medications called opiate (narcotic) analgesics. Methiodone (other names: IC-26, WIN 1161-3) is an opioid drug, a strong analgesic, an analog of methadone with similar effects.

According to human and animal studies, this substance has similar opioid activity to methadone and can act as a strong analgesic, causing a sedative effect, causing euphoria. This substance has never been marketed due to the danger of substance abuse in opioid addiction.
