2-FEA (2-fluoroethamphetamine) is a synthetic molecule from the chemical class of amphetamines.

Molecules of the amphetamine class contain a phenethylamine core consisting of a phenyl ring that is bound to an amino group (NH2) via an ethyl chain that is substituted at Rα by a methyl group (amphetamines are alpha-methylated phenethylamines).

2-FEA is the analog of ethylamphetamine (also known as ethamphetamine) fluorinated at position 3. It is also an analog of fenfluramine with the 3-trifluoromethyl group replaced by a 3-fluoro substituent.

Pharmacological effects

Although 2-FEA buy has not been formally studied to the same extent as conventional amphetamines, it is currently believed that, like other substituted amphetamines with substitutions at similar positions, it most likely acts primarily as a triple reuptake inhibitor and/or releaser of the monoamine neurotransmitters serotonin, dopamine and norepinephrine.
